Sad to say I dont think there are other ways to improve your insulin. Perhaps you should consult your doctor and see if he can put you on metformin tablets instead.

Sorry I do not know of any such treatment but I’d love to stop taking insulin as well.

Sorry at the moment there is no other treatment available for insulin depend ant diabetics. Insulin is broken down in the stomach so it has to be injected not taken as tablet form

There is no cure for type 1 diabetes. There is no treatment other than insulin. I am sure someone will answer this question with a link to some ‘breakthrough’ product. I assure you anyone that does that is trying to scam you.

there is a site online that’s ayurvedic for a kidney remedy to heal. You have to look http://www.devineremedies.com. The man swears by these herbs. They are expensive but they do work. I can’t swear to them because I can’t get them past immigration but you can give them a try.

I REALLY wish there was, but unfortunately, no. there isnt. But they are working on a cure whereas they take some of your original stem cells, multiply and grow them, then plant them back into the pancreas. But there is a possibility that the body could just kill the cells as it had once before, so they give you light radiotherapy to weaken the immune system for a period of time, while the body gets used to the cells. But then there is the problem that if you catch a disease while the immune system is weak, you could POTENTIALLY die – which isnt usually good!
there will be a cure one day, we’ll just have to wait!!

No. There is no way to reactivate the pancreas. It’s not a case of the pancreas being dormant. The cells that produce insulin in the pancreas are dead. There is research into harvesting insulin producing cells from a donor (but the donor must have died) and giving the cells to someone with diabetes, but this has it’s own set of problems. Do a Google search on “Edmonton Protocol” for information about this.

‘Fraid not. The immune system kinda screws things up in that respect. If it didn’t then you could easily inject stem cells into the pancreas and things would start up again. Sadly, if you did that, the effects would only last a few weeks at best before the immune system screwed things up again.
There are lots of clincs around who claim they can restart the pancreas using stem cells but they’re kinda shady, if you ask me, and the effects wouldn’t last long and you’d only be wasting your time/money.
Still, there’s lots of research going on so there should be some kind of breakthrough in reprogramming the immune system which could also cure many other annoying diseases (ie. MS, rheumatoid arthritis…) in years to come

if you are a Type 1 Diabetic, there is NO OTHER WAY. Your pancreas canNOT be reactivated. You NEED those insulin shots, or you will die.
If you are a Type 2 Diabetic who uses insulin, there are some oral medications that can cause your pancreas to make more insulin. These require a prescription, so you MUST talk to your doctor.
The pain and gas is caused by your diet, NOT from insulin. Insulin does NOT affect your digestive process.
You need to try temporally taking certain foods out of your diet to see if they help the gas problems. Pick a certain food, and don’t eat that for 3-4 days. if the gas foes away, then you will have found the culprit. High fiber foods like beans, lentils, and squash are common culprits. Too much sugar in your diet will cause gas, too.
ALSO — be careful HOW you eat. DO NOT TALK while eating. this causes you to swallow air. Always chew your food 20 times before swallowing. This also prevents you from swallowing air. And eat slowly. Do not “gulp” you food, as eating too quickly causes you to swallow air.
